Soooo, from time to time I've complained about new shows on TV, but this year, I think the networks have scraped the bottom of the barrel. There isn't ONE new show that I have the least bit of interest in. To tell you the truth, the previews turned me off. They all seem lewd and crude - one-joke comedies that seem to be written by teenage boys. It's so sad.I read an article that wanted to take one of the award shows to cable so the actors and the host could use more profanity. Is this really entertainment??????

End of rant.

It was nice to have some rain a few weeks ago here in drought-stricken sunny California. Even a little thunder and lightning. If there was only a way to get some of that snow that's currently causing havoc in the East to the mountains in the West!

I read this quote on Facebook and thought, Wow, how true it is:
The devil doesn’t come to you with his ugly red face and scary horns

He comes to you disguised as everything you ever wanted.

I went to see the new Star Wars movie. Twice. It was even better the second time. We have a Star Wars party every New Year's Eve. My son has a projector and a screen, and I'm pretty sure we'll be watching the new movie this year.

I can't believe how fast 2015 went by. It was like January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, December....

I have a new book coming out in a month or so - Donovan's Woman. I really love this story.

And then, in September, comes Twilight Dreams.

I recently discovered Lee Child's "Jack Reacher" series. I saw the movie with Tom Cruise, of course, because, well, I love Tom Cruise. And now I am hooked on the books. I've been reading them as fast as I can find them. I think there are 20. I've read 6. I read today there's another movie coming out this year. I do have to say, after reading the books, that Tom in no way fits Reacher's physical description, but I'm willing to ignore that

I'm also looking forward to the new Huntsman movie starring Chris Hemsworth because, well, he's in it. And if I can't have Thor, I'll take the Huntsman.

Hope you have a wonderful year!!!!!
