Nothing in Particular

Well, can you believe it’s March already? We could use some rain here in Sunny California. Considering that it was over 80 degrees today, it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any rain any time soon.

We planted some new plants in our “garden”. I can’t help but feel sorry for the poor things, since I have a black thumb and have basically consigned them to a slow death.
However, we planted peas, grapes, and blackberries. Also tomatoes, which are about the only thing we’ve grown successfully. In fact, we just planted the tomato plants last week, and we already have two little green tomatoes growing! We also planted a loquat tree.

Last year, we planted two fig trees. One got three figs on it, the other one might have had one, I can’t remember. This year, the one that bore fruit is growing leaves. The other one looks pretty sad.

Remarkably, the poinsettia plant that I bought before Christmas is still blooming and beautiful. Probably feels sorry for me.
