This-n-That
Well, that new pute turned out to have problems of its own. I took it back and they exchanged it for a new one, which seems to be working fine (knock on wood). I bought a new 1 gig flash drive that's so small, I can't believe it actually holds more than a word or two. I took it over to my son's house and plugged it into his computer, just to see if my files were really there. Surprise! They were. Amazing!
We went to see X-Men, The Last Stand. Also amazing. I sure hope The Last Stand isn't The Last Movie, cause the ending cries out for another movie. I thought Kelsey Grammar of Frasier fame did a great job. But Wolverine's my man!
I saw Mission Impossible 3. Totally unbelievable, but very entertaining.
I saw Over the Hedge...cute.
Now I am eagerly awaiting the release of Pirates of the Caribbean.
In other news ~ IT'S HOT!!!!
It's also June already. Can Halloween and Christmas be far behind?
On the book front, I'm almost half-way through my current work-in-progress, which is good news. Of course, the book isn't due until NEXT July, so there's really no rush.
Leisure Books is reissuing three of my old vampire books in September. They'll have new covers, all with a similar "look", similar to this one: which happens to be my favorite, so far. I'm happy to know they're being reissued, since they've been out of print for a year or so.
I finished my sequel to Night's Kiss. My critique groups both love this book. Personally, I think it's one of the best things I've written. I just wish it was coming out this year instead of next year.
Well, I've rambled on long enough. Hope all is well (and cool) in your corner of the world.
