WOW
Wow, how the time does fly. I knew I hadn't written anything in a long time, but this is ridiculous!
Old news ~I had the flu in December. I was so sick! The first three days, I could barely get out of bed. Didn't get dressed. Didn't eat. Just slept. I feel like I lost three days of my life. It was awful.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Spent it with our kids, which is always fun.
I don't know about you, but I'm one of those who was upset at the stores who've decided to refrain from saying "Merry Christmas" and instead wished us "Happy Holidays". Holiday trees? I don't think so, not unless I can buy a holiday tree on July 4th. I heard on the news that at some school play they sang Silent Night, only they changed the words to winter night...GIVE ME A BREAK...if I recall the words, it was something like, "cold night, winter night, no one in sight..." I must be remembering wrong, it couldn't have been that bad!
I don't understand this trend to do away with Christmas, to call Easter break, spring break. Come on, people! Of course, I object to foreperson instead of foreman, too, so maybe I'm in the minority.
So, on to the new year. It is still called the New Year, isn't it??????? I signed a new 4 book contract with my publisher to write any type of paranormal books I want...vampires, ghosts, werewolves, etc. I'm currently working on a vampire book, since they're my favorite.
My new book comes out next month. I love this story. Hope my readers will, too. It got a nice review in Publishers Weekly, which made me feel great!
We went to see "Hoodwinked". I thought it was cute and clever.
We went to see "King Kong", which I thought was way too long. They should have cut the first hour!
We went to see "Narnia" which was good, but not as good as I expected.
And that brings me up to date!
Hope the new year is being kind to you!
