Long Time No See

Wow, been a long time since I wrote...probably no one noticed, since I don't think anyone reads this thing...I'd like to say I was off on some wonderful exotic cruise and couldn't write, but the truth is, I just forgot! I've been working on a new book and I'm really excited about it. Obsessed, you might say

Cheers to Sasha Cohen! I think she did a great job, falls and all.

RANT: I may have ranted about this before, but I have to tell you,if I had a magic wand, I would wave it and make the "F" word disappear from all the books I read. Honestly, it seems like the "F" word has replaced every other bad word the world ever knew. It shows up even when it doesn't make sense! I was happily reading a book the other day, thinking how wonderful it was that the "F" word wasn't there, when BAM, there it was, not once or twice, but several times. I simply don't understand the fascination romance writers have for that crude, ugly word that was never heard on TV and seen only written on the walls of the boy's bathroom in school. One thing the "F" word has done is take the sting out of words we used to think of as bad words". Of course, characters don't use the more common cuss words any more, it's "F" this and "F" that until I want to scream!

Closing my eyes, taking a deep, calming breath...

I'm happy to say that my current book, Desire After Dark, is doing really well. It's made the Waldenbooks bestseller list, the USA Today bestseller list and the Books-a-Million bestseller list. Not only that, but it's already being reprinted. And, I'm happy to say, that horrid, lewd, crude, ugly word isn't in it even once!
