RANT
So, I really wanted to watch a new TV series called Duster staring Josh Holloway, the hunk from Lost. So, I tuned in and the show had barely begun when the "F" word was used 3 times, once by a kid. Bye, Bye, Duster.
The same thing happened with Yellowstone, which I really wanted to watch because a couple of my fav stars are in it. Episode 1 - practically the first word out of anyone's mouth is the "F" word. Bye, bye, Yellowstone.
I know it's just a word, but I can't stand it in books or movies and lately it's coming out of the mouths of Congressmen and women. Unforgiveable!
Now, on to another pet peeve. I may have complained about this before, but it happened again.
I watched 3 seasons of Zoo, which left me hanging, as there was no season 4 to tie things up!
I watched the first season of Surface, which I really liked, but, again, it left me hanging.
I watched the first season of Invasion. Again, no resolution.
I watched the first season of Moonlight. Loved it. And again, there was no resolution.
I think film makers should have to provide a conclusion of some kind so that viewers who invested their time in watching a program would know what happened in the end. It just isn't fair!!!
Last one ~
Whatever happened to all the pretty, talented people who used to do commercials?
Wishing you a happy, wonderful, fun-filled Summer!
