ARGHHH

I am soooooooooooo bored. There's nothing to do. It's hot. I don't feel like cleaning house. I don't feel like reading. I don't feel like writing. I don't feel like watching tv or a movie. And, of course, I can't think of anything exciting to write about, but that's nothing new. I'm sure my blog is the most boring one on the planet...don't know why I bother.

Sigh. I just feel blah. I sure hope life is more exciting where you are.

This gave me a smile. Hope it gives you one, as well:

The Broken Mower

When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I should get it fixed. But, somehow I always had something else to take care of first, the truck, the car, playing golf - always something more important to me.

Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point. When I arrived home one day, I found her seated in the tall grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors. I watched silently for a short time and then went into the house. I was gone only a minute, and when I came out again, I handed her a toothbrush.

I said, "When you finish cutting the grass, you might as well sweep the driveway."

The doctors say I will walk again, but I will always have a limp.

Moral of this story: Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right, and the other is the husband.

Have a great weekend.

Hi

Well, the first season of the Dresden Files is over and I'm hooked. I love the actors who play Harry and Murphy, loves the stories and the special effects. Of course, since I'm hooked, they'll probably cancel it, since any show I like seems to get the kiss of death.

I also really love Blood Ties. I remember reading the books the series is based on years ago; in fact, I still have them in my library. Hopefully, both shows will make the cut!

Not a whole lot going on in my life these days, which is good. I'm working on a new book. Looking forward to all the 3's..Spiderman, Shrek, and Pirates.

Can't believe it's almost the end of April already. I don't know what happened to March. It came and went in the blink of an eye.

I've been watching Dancing with the Stars, but only because of Billy Ray Cyrus. I met him years ago. He's a real sweetie.

Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Happy Easter

Just wanted to take a minute and wish you a Happy Easter, or Passover, and hope that, sometime during the holiday, you'll remember to pray for our troops and for peace on earth.
