Happy Thanksgiving

Dropping in to wish you a quick and last minute Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’ll take the time to reflect on the good things in your life. And to let those you love know it while you can.

I’m thankful for my family, a comfortable home, a free country, the pets who love me no matter what, my best friend, my critique groups, a terrific editor, and the readers who have taken the time to write me, to name just a few.

I’ve had a busy couple of weeks. I’m negotiating a new contract, which is always exciting and a little scary. I’ve been working on a new book, which is also exciting and a little scary.

Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful holiday with those you love.

In Love with Lost

Well, I don't know about you, but I simply adore all the new sci-fi shows. Of course, LOST remains my favorite, I suppose because of those handsome hunks, Sawyer and Sayid. I'm also very fond of Hurley, Locke, and Kate. I have a poll on my website where you can vote for your favorite character. So far, Sawyer is in the lead. My only complaint about the show is the ever-growing amount of COMMERCIALS. I think, out of 60 minutes, 15 of them must have been commercials. Come on, ABC, give us a break!

I think INVASION and SURFACE are both terrific and look forward to each new episode.

I like SUPERNATURAL and NIGHT STALKER are both good,although they sometimes get a little too gory for me.

I like THRESHOLD, too, although there are times when I'm not sure what the heck is going on.

GHOST WHISPERER is another favorite. It's had me in tears on more than one occasion.

I'm working on a new book, which is always exciting, at least in the beginning. Middles tend to be hard work. Endings are usually pretty easy.

One more week until HARRY POTTER! Yippee!

Just Hello

Hi ~ Just a quick note to say hello. Nothing earth shattering going on here at the moment. I finished the book I was working on and I think it's really good, one of my best. My critique groups think it's the best thing I've ever done. Sure hope my editor thinks so.

I started a new book. Since I don't plot ahead and don't outline, where this book is heading remains to be seen! I like it so far. However, beginnings are easy for me. I could write them all day long. Endings are usually pretty easy, as well. It's filling up all those words in the middle that cause the problem!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. We had a good time.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner. And then, CHRISTMAS. I confess, I'm looking forward to the new year, since it means the publication of my two upcoming books, DAKOTA DREAMS and DESIRE AFTER DARK.

Life never stays the same. Sometimes that's a good thing. But this weekend my son
and his family moved away. Definitely not a good thing.
